Pregnancy Conception Calculator
The Pregnancy Conception Calculator helps estimate the date of conception based on three different calculation methods: Due Date, Last Period, and Ultrasound. This tool is useful for understanding when conception likely occurred, which can provide valuable insights for family planning or tracking pregnancy progress.
📊 How to Use the Pregnancy Conception Calculator
Select Calculation Method:
Choose from three methods using the dropdown menu:
Due Date:
If you know your estimated due date.
Last Period:
Based on the first day of your last menstrual cycle and your average cycle length.
Ultrasound:
If you have an ultrasound report that indicates the gestational age (in weeks and days).
Enter Required Information:
Depending on your selected method, you will be prompted to provide specific details:
✅ For "Due Date":
Enter your expected due date using the date picker.
✅ For "Last Period":
Input the first day of your last menstrual period.
Provide your average cycle length (default is 28 days, but you can adjust it if needed).
✅ For "Ultrasound":
Enter the date of your ultrasound.
Specify the gestational age from the ultrasound in weeks and days.
📅 How the Calculation Works
Due Date Method:
Subtracts 266 days (or 38 weeks) from the due date.
Last Period Method:
Adds (cycle length - 14 days) to the first day of your last period (conception typically happens around ovulation).
Ultrasound Method:
Subtracts the pregnancy duration (in weeks and days) from the ultrasound date to estimate conception.
